In my dream, there was a trial that featured the cast of Night Court and, I think, Malcolm McDowell. On trial was a woman accused of murder - she had killed death. Death itself was the star witness; it seems that being killed didn't prevent it from testifying. Dan Fielding was acting as the defense attorney, for some reason. Malcolm McDowell was acting as prosecuting attorney. In the end it wound up turning into a Burt Bacharach musical dance number.

Then I woke up - within my dream. I woke up in my bed in the house where I grew up. [livejournal.com profile] tigira was getting ready for the morning at the vanity in my mother's room, while my mother was still sleeping. (This had to have been a real tipoff that it was still a dream; I've never known my mother to sleep while I've been awake.) I tried to gather up paper and a pencil to write down the Night Court dream. I got part of it down - probably about what you see above. Then annoying things started happening, like all of my paper pads being full and my pen just disappearing.

Eventually that changed into me driving off to work, all the time reciting the content of the Night Court dream off in my head so that I'd remember it. Most of what I remember of that was topping a large hill going a bit too fast, on a wet road, and being afraid to use the brakes very much because the angle of the hill was too large to retain much traction.

I almost got to parking when I woke up for real.

Interpretation: My brain is weird.
